Anna Pearce is the Coordinator of the fellows at Green Valley. While she was born in Ohio, she’s lived in Colorado since she was three. She graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Education. Her favorite part of working with fellows is seeing them grow as educators and their passion ignited for education and students.
Rachel Huntley is a Denver Math Fellow at Green Valley Elementary. Originally from Middleton, MA, Rachel studied Elementary Education at Emanuel College in Boston. When asked where do you see yourself in 5 years, she said, “I see myself working in a school, but doing what…I don’t know.”
Shoaib Ghori is originally from Pakistan and is serving as a Denver Math Fellow at Green Valley Elementary. He graduated with a Business Administration degree from Metro. Shoaib said he could see himself becoming some sort of school administrator in the future, handling more of the business affairs.
Henok Teklehimanot studied Education Psychology at University Asmar and is originally from Ethiopia. He is currently serving as a Denver Math Fellow and is a part of the Relay Graduate program through his work at Green Valley Elementary School. After this service year is complete, Henok sees himself as a classroom teacher.
